Santo Domingo. - The former player and Dominican baseball legend Luis Polonia, known as “La Hormiga Atómica”, surprised viewers during the prime time of La Casa de Alofoke 2 by revealing that he earned more than 14 million dollars throughout his career in the Major Leagues.
Poland spoke openly about his career in professional baseball, highlighting the achievements, sacrifices, and lessons that marked his sporting life. With the honesty that characterizes him, he recalled how he became one of the most consistent players in the country abroad.The former player, who wore uniforms for teams like the Oakland Athletics, Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees, and California Angels, also reflected on the emotional challenges of his career, especially the time away from his family and the pressures of high performance.“In Major Leagues I earned 14 million dollars. But more than the money, what was important was the discipline I maintained all those years. I played or trained 11 months a year,” expressed Polonia.
