Santo Domingo.- The Christian play “Perseguidos” (Persecuted), managed to fill the José de Jesús Ravelo hall of the National Theater for three nights with an incredible staging, bringing from the stage a reflective message of redemption and closeness to God. Starring Francis Fanini and Vivián Fatule, this theatrical piece narrates the vicissitudes experienced by Christians after the death of Jesus, as they were executed by the Roman Empire, commanded by Caesar, leading them to have to hide in a cave. Under the direction of Jennie Guzmán de Medina and the production of Carlos Alfredo Fatule, the plot transports the audience to Rome in the year 66 AD, where many of the true Christians were awaiting the arrival of the apostle Paul but were brutally persecuted by Emperor Nero, having to take refuge in one of the caves outside the city when suddenly something unexpected came to them. You can also read: Each of those present was able to enjoy an impeccable piece, with historical and biblical support, joyfully confirming the true message of faith and hope that Christians have always had on earth. The audience rated "Perseguidos" as excellent and fantastic, expressing the great work that could be enjoyed, and how each of them felt identified with each of the characters in the plot, showing a quality work for their enjoyment and a sublime message for humanity. "Perseguidos" is a dramatic-suspense play that aims to evangelize with a redemptive message to all Christians and to bring closer those who are not Christian. With an hour and a half of performance, the audience is captivated by the synergy of the stage and the complicity of the characters. After the play, Carlos Alfredo Fatule thanked the audience for their presence to enjoy this spiritual gift, which although it tells an ancient story is still a palpable reality. He also informed that there will be a new "Pursued" function, next Friday, June 13th at 8:30 PM in the José de Jesús Ravelo hall of the National Theater.
