Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.- Singer Quevedo has called his followers in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, his city, to pay attention to what happens this Monday at 8:30 p.m. on Las Canteras beach, with several cryptic messages on Instagram that increase the expectation about the launch of his new album.
On April 6th, Quevedo placed two enormous banners on the facade of a building on Fuencarral street in Madrid: one with a photo of him making a crazy face while hugging a baby goat, surrounded by eight yellow stars (as many as the Canary Islands), and another with the expression "El Baifo", a Canarian localism that he himself was in charge of explaining.
El Baifo, detailed that canvas, means: «1. Way to call the young goat in the Canary Islands», «2. verbal phrase, ‘Se me fue el baifo’. Momentary loss of control and sudden forgetfulness» and «3. ‘El Baifo. Pedro Luis Domínguez Quevedo» (his full name).
Since then, most of his followers bet that this will be the title of his third album, after 'Donde quiero estar' (2023) and 'Buenas noches' (2024), an album from which he has already released a couple of preview songs: 'Ni borracho' and 'Scandic'.
