Regional 15 of Education was recognized with the Bronze Medal in the 2025 National Award for Educational Quality, an award that distinguishes good practices, continuous improvement and institutional commitment to efficient, transparent and results-oriented public management.
This important achievement reflects the coordinated work of the entire team of Regional 15, of each of the educational districts, and of the educational centers that daily demonstrate a vocation for service, responsibility and a firm love for the mission of transforming lives through education.
The regional director, Eddy Chávez, highlighted that this recognition reaffirms the commitment to continue promoting a more humane, inclusive, and transformative education, strengthening internal processes, raising the quality of service, and guaranteeing better opportunities for thousands of students in the demarcation. Chávez expressed his deep gratitude to the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, for his vision and decisive support to strengthen the quality of public education, betting on transparency, institutional efficiency and continuous improvement at all levels of the education system. Similarly, he acknowledged the valuable support of the Ministry of Public Administration (MAP) for its technical guidance and its work in strengthening the institutional standards that allow progress towards a more effective, modern, and committed management with the well-being of the citizenry.
