Santo Domingo.- The Universidad Federico Henríquez y Carvajal (UFHEC) formally launched the Doctorate in Education Sciences, a 4th level academic program, which seeks to respond to the needs of society to raise the educational level of teachers and produce research that impacts the Dominican education system.
The national rector of UFHEC, Alberto Ramírez Cabral, stated that "The transformation of education begins with the preparation of those who teach, which is why we are committed to the training of academic leaders capable of investigating, innovating and providing solutions to the difficulties affecting our education system."
The opening of the program was announced with an International Seminar on Educational Research that brought together national and international specialists from the University of Paris XII, with doctors Pascal Lafont and Marcel Pariat with a Master Conference on Educational Research in the European Context.
