Santiago de los Caballeros.– A 32-year-old woman died this Thursday while undergoing liposuction at an aesthetic clinic identified as “Diosa”, located in the Los Jardines Metropolitanos sector of this city, according to her family members.
The victim was identified as Geraldín Hernández, who had entered the health center in the morning to undergo the surgical procedure.
According to versions offered by relatives, the family received a call in which they were only informed that the young woman "had taken a turn for the worse," without further details about her condition. Upon arriving at the establishment, they were notified of her death.
Ámbar Sánchez, the victim's cousin, questioned the handling of the case by the medical center, stating that they have not received clear information about the circumstances in which the death occurred or the time elapsed between the death and the notification.
