Santo Domingo.- The capital's culinary scene welcomes a new and vibrant proposal with the opening of Forja (The Meeting Point), an international cuisine restaurant that celebrates the artisanal, the authentic and the well-made, located in the exclusive Serrallés sector. Forja was officially inaugurated on July 24th, presenting a versatile concept: during the day, a warm and familiar space, ideal for lunches and after-dinner conversations; and at night, a more sophisticated and dynamic atmosphere, with dim lights, carefully curated music, and an energy that invites you to stay. The restaurant adopts an industrial and brutalist aesthetic, with elements of concrete, steel, and wood that bring personality and elegance to the space.

Its gastronomic proposal combines global techniques with local flavors. Among its emblematic dishes, the Liniero Risotto stands out, prepared with pigeon peas and goat leg, and the grilled pork Tomahawk, accompanied by old mustard sauce. Added to this are memorable starters such as the country bread stuffed with camembert or the Serrano ham croquettes with Manchego cheese alioli. The experience is complemented by a signature cocktail bar, where each drink has been designed to harmonize with the menu and the moment. Forja not only bets on culinary excellence, but on a comprehensive experience. The space has private rooms, a smoking terrace and a central bar, ideal for different types of gatherings. In addition, it incorporates works of art by Dominican artists, providing an authentic link with the local culture. The ambient music and special activities, such as live performances, enhance the sensory and aesthetic experience of the place. The restaurant operates from Sunday to Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and Fridays and Saturdays until 2:00 a.m. Although entry is free, reservations are recommended for evening hours or weekends, in order to enjoy a smoother and more personalized experience.
Forja arrives with a clear mission: to offer a cuisine with soul, an atmosphere that inspires, and a service that connects.
