Despite the absence of two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, out with a calf injury, the Bucks found unexpected heroes.
Kyle Kuzma led the offense with 31 points, while Kevin Porter Jr. recorded a triple-double of 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists. From the bench, Bobby Portis Jr. added 27 points for a team that had lost 10 of its last 12 games. Boston, guided by 30 points from Jaylen Brown and 20 from Jordan Walsh, managed to lead by 14 points and went into halftime ahead 67-60. However, the Celtics faded in the second half, missing 23 of their 26 three-point attempts after halftime. Milwaukee took advantage to dominate the third quarter 27-13 and take definitive control of the scoreboard. "They hit us early, but in the third quarter our defense was phenomenal," said Bucks coach Doc Rivers.
On the other side, coach Joe Mazzulla acknowledged the lack of execution in the second half: "We had good moments, but we weren't sharp when they increased the pressure."

Rockets hold on to defeat Clippers 115-113

In Los Angeles, the Houston Rockets achieved a hard-fought 115-113 victory over the LA Clippers, led by a dominant performance by center Alperen Sengun, who contributed 22 points and 15 rebounds. The game remained close all night, and no team gained a lead of more than nine points.
With 37.1 seconds on the clock, James Harden tied the score at 110-110, but Amen Thompson gave Houston the definitive lead by converting a shot after capturing his team's fifth attempt in the possession, after three consecutive offensive rebounds by Sengun. Kevin Durant, the Rockets' main figure, had a discreet first half with only three points (1/7 in shots), but completed the game with 14 points after reacting in the second half. For the Clippers, Ivica Zubac shined with 33 points and Kawhi Leonard added 24 and nine rebounds, although they did not avoid the third consecutive defeat and the eighth in the last nine games.

Pelicans Break Losing Streak; Nuggets Still Strong

The Clippers fell to 14th in the West, while the Rockets remain third behind the Denver Nuggets, who dominated the Sacramento Kings 136-103.
The triple MVP Nikola Jokic shone again with 36 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. For their part, the New Orleans Pelicans broke a seven-game losing streak by defeating the Portland Trail Blazers 143-120.
Frenchman Sidy Cissoko set his personal best in the NBA with 20 points off the bench, while his compatriot Ryan Rupert contributed 14 points, six rebounds and three assists.
