It is also indicated that the transaction responds to the agreement that both announced in September, which involved Intel's entry into Nvidia's capital with an investment of 5 billion and the joint manufacturing of processing units (CPU) for data centers and clients.

The Operation Between Nvidia and Intel

According to the agreement, the two companies will focus on connecting their respective architectures via Nvidia NVLink, which will combine Nvidia's strengths in artificial intelligence (AI) and accelerated computing with Intel's technologies in CPUs and its x86 ecosystem. The U.S. antitrust agencies had already given the green light to Nvidia's investment in Intel, according to a notice published by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in early December.
Nvidia Intel
Nvidia's shares fell on the stock market by around 1.3% near the close of this Monday, while Intel, which has grown 61% in the last six months, recorded a slight increase of 1.1%.
