OPRET announces scheduled maintenance at elevated Metro stations in Villa Mella

Santo Domingo. – The Office for the Reordering of Transportation (OPRET) reported that the elevated stations of the Santo Domingo Metro located in Villa Mella will be undergoing scheduled maintenance from January 10 to 25.

The entity explained that the works are part of the system's conservation and improvement plan, with the aim of guaranteeing greater safety, efficiency, and comfort to the users of the service. During the maintenance period, OPRET ensured that free transportation will be available for passengers, in order to cover the section between the stations Mamá Tingó and Gregorio Urbano Gilbert, avoiding inconveniences in the mobility of citizens.

The institution urged users to remain attentive to official information and to take the necessary precautions during the time the work lasts, reiterating its commitment to the continuous improvement of the country's mass transportation system.
