Ancient Dominican Order maintains call to march despite warnings from the Church

The Ancient Dominican Order confirmed that it will carry out the march scheduled for this Sunday, despite mediation attempts made by a representative of the Catholic Church. The mobilization is organized in response to the recent death of a 14-year-old minor, and seeks to express solidarity with the family and demand justice.

During a meeting held this Friday, a bishop from the country met with the leaders of the Ancient Order to persuade them to postpone the march, pointing out the importance of prudence and peaceful dialogue. However, the proposal was rejected by the leaders of the group, who assured that the decision was made in consensus with the family members of the affected minor. "We understand the Church's concern, but the march is a legitimate expression of the community and an act of support for the victim's family," stated Angelo Vásquez, spokesperson for the Ancient Dominican Order.
