MIAMI.- Superstar Shakira, multiple GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® award winner, and rising Colombian artist Beéle, released the video for their new song “ALGO TÚ”. Directed by Shakira and Jaume De Laiguana, the video shows Shakira and Beéle perfectly synchronized as they dance through the streets of Barranquilla, the hometown of both artists.
One of the main settings of the video is the iconic Museo a Cielo Abierto de Barrio Abajo, an emblematic site of the renowned Carnival of the city, rich in art, culture, gastronomy, and history, which reflects the local identity. Also appearing are the Gran Malecón along the Magdalena River, the Luna del Río Ferris wheel, and the Puerta de Oro Convention and Events Center. All these spaces were restored and/or built by the Mayor's Office of Barranquilla, led by Mayor Alejandro Char, as a testament to the urban transformation of the city in the last 20 years.

In addition, the video includes the participation of renowned Carnival troupes, such as Rumbón Normalista, Son Kalimba and the iconic dance group El Congo Grande de Barranquilla, which provides a festive and authentic atmosphere that connects the song with the cultural roots and identity of the region. Also, tomorrow at 12 AM ET, Shakira and Beéle will release a 3-song EP of “ALGO TÚ”, which will include new remixes by Shimza and Indira Paganotto, as well as the original song. Shakira and Beéle performed the song live for the first time in the Zócalo of Mexico City, marking the largest event held in the history of that place. With more than 400 thousand attendees, both artists electrified the square and generated great expectation around the release of the song. For his part, Shimza previewed his remix during the first weekend of Coachella, in a back-to-back set with Afrojack that immediately captured the attention of a massive international audience.
