Isaiah Develsio, the child, found lifeless after a week of being missing in San Francisco-Vicentillo

El Seibo.– The agonizing search for little Isaías Develsio, barely two years old, concluded this Friday with the discovery of his lifeless body in a pasture near the house where he was last seen, in the community of San Francisco‑Vicentillo.

The child, originally from Verón, La Altagracia province, was visiting relatives when he disappeared last Saturday, July 26th. Since then, rescue and security agencies joined in an intense search operation that included Civil Defense, the National Police, the Fire Department, the Public Ministry, and dozens of volunteer community members.

The discovery occurred a short distance from the family residence, which has caused shock in the area. According to the authorities, during the investigation, traces of blood were found in the yard where Isaías played, an element that opens up new lines of inquiry. The Public Ministry has initiated a more in-depth investigation to clarify whether there were criminal hands in the disappearance and death of the minor, ruling out for the moment a simple accidental disappearance. The case has shocked the community and the country, provoking multiple expressions of pain and outrage on social media. The authorities assured that they will exhaust all efforts to determine what happened and bring justice if those responsible are found.
