Santo Domingo.- This Tuesday marked the beginning of the workshop series “Trade and Investment Opportunities offered by Great Britain”, an initiative that is part of the Round Table of the Commonwealth Countries in the Dominican Republic.
The activity takes place in the auditorium of ProDominicana, bringing together diplomatic representatives, binational chambers, and business leaders, with the aim of strengthening commercial and strategic ties between the country and the 56 nations that make up the Commonwealth. Great Britain leads the first day with panels on energy, education, exports, technology, and financial investment. Ambassador Carol Van der Walt and the president of BRITCHAMDR, Amaurís Vásquez, led the presentations. The cycle is expected to continue with workshops focused on Canada, Jamaica, India, Australia, and other countries in this international network.
