Acroarte celebrates its traditional Christmas gathering

An afternoon of music, joy and brotherhood dedicated to Joseíto Mateo brought together the members of the institution in Lungomare Santo Domingo, RD - The Association of Art Chroniclers (Acroarte) held its traditional Christmas fellowship gathering, in a festive atmosphere filled with music, surprises, and camaraderie. The activity took place at the Lungomare facilities, where the members of the institution enjoyed an event designed to strengthen the bonds that unite them as a family. The night was graced by the outstanding artistic performances of Héctor Acosta “El Torito”, El Blachy, Glen's La Intensa and Norby Montero, who lit up the stage with a varied repertoire that kept the audience enthusiastic from beginning to end.

El Torito entertained and closed the festivities with a flourish, with an impeccable performance, in which he performed his greatest bachata and merengue hits, which kept the audience celebrating and dancing throughout his performance. A descarga of typical merengue was performed by El Blachy, also with a prim presentation, preceded by the participation of Glen’s La Intensa and Norby Montero.

In addition to the musical performances, attendees participated in raffles and special dynamics prepared for the occasion, which added a touch of excitement and celebration to the gathering. The president of Acroarte, Marivell Contreras, expressed her joy at the large participation and the atmosphere of unity that characterized the activity.
“This celebration is a reminder of the great family spirit that distinguishes Acroarte. I am deeply grateful for the support we have received since we assumed the presidency last August and for the invaluable support that our sponsors provide us. Thank you for allowing us to share this special night, full of joy and brotherhood”, she stated.

Among the special elements of the celebration was the hosting of the event, by the outstanding television presenter Jenny Blanco, who with her professionalism, charisma and energy kept the audience's attention throughout the celebration, also the special participation of Stand Comedy, Té de Jagua and an exquisite tropical musical selection by Alexis Méndez DJ from “Los jueves son de Alexis”.

With this celebration, Acroarte bids farewell to a year of work and commitment, reaffirming its desire to continue strengthening the bond between its members and promoting art and culture in the Dominican Republic.
