Epstein's victims report death threats

About thirty "surviving" victims of the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein reported having received "death threats and other threats of harm." As the release date of the documents related to the Epstein case approaches, the victims fear that their suffering and the dangers they face may intensify.

However, they insist on the disclosure of "all files" and not a selective publication, and ask that the names of the victims not be altered. In relation to the threats, they request "all federal and state law enforcement agencies that have jurisdiction over these threats to investigate and protect" the whistleblower collective. The statement, titled 'What We Are Waiting For', also denounces attempts to blame the victims. "We were all vulnerable due to the circumstances of life we faced when we were young," the women maintain. Furthermore, they reject the idea that every young person who turns 18 legally becomes "easy prey" and that the varied methods of sexual predation, such as those elaborated by Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell, his former intimate friend, can be applied to them.
