Rogers pitched five scoreless innings, allowing just two hits, walking four, and striking out five batters. With this performance, he earned his second win of the season. The Stars' offense was activated early, scoring three runs in the second inning thanks to a single by Ángel Martínez, a sacrifice fly by Vidal Bruján, and a steal of home converted by Rodolfo Durán. In the seventh inning, a single by Bruján against the center fielder extended the lead to 4-0, an advantage that would prove decisive despite the two-run home run hit by the Giants in the eighth inning. Reliever Patrick Weigel's appearance in the ninth inning sealed the victory with his first save of the season. With this victory, the Estrellas Orientales improve their record to 13-16 in the campaign, consolidating a significant boost in their quest for qualification.
