Santo Domingo. The National Baseball League completed its third day with applause, recognition, and great support from the fans, with Herrera and Santo Domingo Este as leaders.

These two teams have a 2-1 record to set the pace for the third edition of the National Baseball League in Option to the Banreservas Cup, which is played in the Capital, Santiago, San Juan, San Cristóbal and San Pedro de Macorís.
The game of the day was held on Saturday at the famous Temistocles Metz stadium in San Cristobal, it was broadcast on CDN Deportes and where the home team came out on top.
Before that game, under the scorching sun and the joy of the fans, several recognitions were made.
Under much applause, the mayor of San Cristóbal, Nelson de la Rosa, the Governor Pura Casilla Dolores, the president of the Ponny League, Eugenio Báez and Benny Metz, son of Temistocles Metz, both leaders of their town, were recognized.
Alfonso Peña Melo, president of the National Baseball League, led the event along with the managers of the San Cristóbal and Santiago teams, Luis Eduardo Caro and Ruperto Ruck. The event was conducted by Franklin Mirabal.
SPM and Herrera
Los Constituyentes, Bucaneros y Cocheros won their respective commitments, corresponding to the third edition of the Professional Baseball National League (LNBp) Banreservas Cup, matches held in different stadiums.
At the Temístocles Metz, in San Cristóbal, the Constituyentes obtained their first victory by defeating Rieĺeros de Santiago 3-2.
With their victory, the San Cristobal team evens their record at 1-1, the same as the Santiago team (1-1).
Reliever Gregori Vásquez (1-0) earned the win and starter Ronny Cruz (1-1) the loss. Closer Félix Paulino recorded his first save.
For the Rieleros, Yerinson Vásquez stood out with two hits, with one run scored. Vicente Núñez, Leny Carela, Eliezer Alvarez and Víctor Luna each hit one hit. For Constituyentes, Yeison Yrizarri and Yeison Asencio linked a pair of uncatchables. Eric Martínez and Luis Avalo added a single each.
At the Marina de Guerra stadium, the Cocheros, from San Pedro de Macorís, defeated the Trinitarios from Santo Domingo Este 4-2 to break their undefeated record.
For the people of San Pedro de Macorís, it was their first victory with a defeat. Now, the team led by Osiris Martínez, shows a record of 2-1.
Reliever Ulises Anglada (1-0) earned the victory by working one and one-third scoreless innings, allowing two hits, one walk, and striking out three. Jeral Henríguez (1-1) took the loss, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks in one inning.
For the Cocheros, Angel Guerrero led the offense, going 4-3 with one run scored.
Fran Alduey, Nicolás Pierre, and Marcos Bladimir each added two hits. For the Trinitarios, Michael Martínez, Jomar Reyes, and Elián Sandobal each had two singles. The Japanese player Katsuya Arai and Richard Hidalgo had one hit each.
At the Hermanos Suárez municipal stadium, in San Juan de la Maguana, the Bucaneros de Herrera obtained their second consecutive victory by blanking the Graneros, of San Juan de la Maguana, 7-0.
It was the second triumph against a defeat for Bucaneros to tie for first place with the Trinitarios with a 2-1 record.
Lefty José Olaizola (2-0) earned his second victory of the tournament by pitching six scoreless innings, allowing only three hits, with one walk and six strikeouts. Anderson de León (0-1) took the loss, giving up two runs, with three walks and one hit, and failing to record a single out.
It should be noted that the home team's pitching staff issued 17 walks. Geury Estévez hit a couple of hits and Enmanuel Hernández and Franklin Soto had a hit.
