Madrid.— Emergency services in the Community of Madrid managed to control a small fire that occurred on Thursday in the home of footballer Vinícius Júnior, located in La Moraleja, an exclusive neighborhood in the municipality of Alcobendas.

According to the report from Telemadrid, the incident occurred around midday and, fortunately, there was no one at home at the time of the event. Sources from Emergencias 112 Comunidad de Madrid detailed that the alert was received around 12:00 noon, mobilizing two fire crews, who upon arrival found that the fire had originated in the basement of the house, specifically in the area where the player has a sauna and gym. Before the arrival of the firefighters, Local Police officers managed to extinguish the flames with a fire extinguisher, preventing the fire from spreading. The fire only affected that room, although the smoke spread through the stairwell, reaching other areas of the chalet, which were later ventilated by the emergency teams. At the time of the incident, Vinícius Júnior was in Brazil, concentrated with the national team for the upcoming international commitments. The authorities confirmed that there were no injuries or personal damage, and that the incident was completely under control. The Real Madrid has not issued, for the moment, an official statement about the event.
