Aaron Judge on Yankees' slump: "That's baseball, we're not going to give up"

New York. – In the midst of their most delicate moment of the season, the New York Yankees have found the voice of their captain, Aaron Judge, as an anchor of calm and determination. The Bronx team has lost six of their last seven games, including a worrying streak of three games without scoring runs, accumulating 29 scoreless innings. "That's baseball," Judge said serenely when asked by the press, alluding to the unpredictability of the sport. The star slugger called for perseverance and focus, assuring that the team is prepared to face adversity. “We know what we signed up for… You can’t give up, you can’t feel sorry for yourself. You just show up the next day and get ready to play,” stated the right fielder, acknowledging that moments like these test the team's character.

Judge also recalled that it's not the first time they've faced a performance crisis. "We faced similar questions last June when we were also in trouble," he added, confident in the team's ability to recover. Despite the slump, the Yankees continue to lead the American League East Division, a testament to their consistency throughout the year. For Judge, the goal now is clear: to regain the offense and emerge stronger from this downturn.
