Panama.- Panamanian Copa Airlines announced this Wednesday that it is temporarily suspending its flights to and from Caracas "
due to intermittencies in one of the navigation signals".
This announcement comes after many airlines decided to stop flying to Venezuela after US President Donald Trump warned that the airspace over the country should be considered "
entirely closed".
"
Copa Airlines reports that, due to intermittent issues with one of the navigation signals of the aircraft reported by our pilots today —a situation that never compromised operational safety— we have made the preventive decision to temporarily suspend flights to and from Caracas on Thursday, December 4th and Friday, December 5th, 2025," the airline informed in a brief statement.
