The Central Bank's reference price for the sale of the US dollar against the Dominican peso is quoted this Tuesday, October 21st, at RD$64.07 per one.
This price once again exceeds the threshold of RD$64 pesos from the highest peak of the year recorded at the beginning of September when it reached RD$64.13 per one.
As the reference price for the purchase, for this Tuesday, it was set at RD$63.37.
According to the Macroeconomic Expectations Survey conducted monthly by the Central Bank, analysts place the exchange rate at RD$64.00 per dollar for the end of 2025.
This projection implies a year-on-year depreciation of 4.35%, thus returning to the levels expected at the beginning of the year.
