The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Thursday, September 11, 2025, as follows:
In Remittance and Exchange Agents, the buying rate is set at RD$72.56 and the selling rate at RD$77.05.
In the case of Financial Institutions, the euro is bought at RD$73.50 and sold at RD$75.45.
In January 2025, the euro was trading at RD$61.96 for buying and RD$65.79 for selling in financial institutions, and at RD$62.94 for buying and RD$64.68 for selling in exchange agents and remittances.
That means that the Dominican peso has depreciated against the euro by -14.51% in buying and -14.60% in selling at exchange agents and remittance companies, and in Financial Institutions by -14.35% in buying and -14.32% in selling since the close of 2024.
