Hogar Crea highlights DASAC's impact in 41 rehabilitation centers nationwide

Santo Domingo. – The non-profit organization Hogar Crea Dominicano valued as decisive the support it receives from the Government through the Directorate of Social Assistance and Community Food (DASAC), which directly impacts thousands of inmates in the process of rehabilitation and social reintegration. The entity highlighted that the fixed delivery of food rations in its 41 centers nationwide has been key to ensuring the feeding of the inmates, thus strengthening their recovery process and improving their quality of life. The national director of the institution, Julio Manuel Díaz Capellán, described the assistance as "a blessing", assuring that it allows the continuous operation of the homes to be maintained and to provide dignified care to people in vulnerable conditions. Hogar Crea also highlighted the social commitment of the director of DASAC, Edgar Augusto Feliz Arbona, by maintaining constant support that contributes to the stability of these rehabilitation spaces.

During a meeting where the inter-institutional agreement between both entities was reinforced, Feliz Arbona reaffirmed his willingness to continue bringing comprehensive solutions to the most needy sectors, with emphasis on organizations working on social recovery and reintegration. "These actions are part of the social policy promoted by the government of President Luis Abinader Corona, aimed at directly impacting the most vulnerable populations," the official highlighted. He reiterated that one of the reasons for being of the institution he directs is to ensure the feeding of those who can least through the Community Dining Rooms, in addition, the delivery of raw ration kits and support institutions such as Hogar Crea, which carry out a commendable work in the rehabilitation of addicted people seeking their reintegration into society.
