Santo Domingo.– The Dominican Republic's Meteorology Institute (INDOMET) reported that the incidence of a trough associated with a frontal system, along with the northeast wind flow, has caused cloud cover increases accompanied by scattered showers, possible isolated thunderstorms, and wind gusts in different provinces of the national territory. According to predictor Morales, among the most affected areas are San Pedro de Macorís, Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal, Monseñor Nouel, Monte Plata and La Vega, among other locations, where the rainfall will continue until the early hours of the night. For tomorrow, the meteorological agency forecasts a decrease in rainfall due to the entry of an air mass with less moisture content, which will allow dispersed clouds and weak and isolated precipitation to predominate in a large part of the country, mainly towards the mountainous areas.

Regarding temperatures, INDOMET indicated that they will feel pleasant and cool during the night and early morning, especially in valleys and mountainous areas inland, due to the time of year and the cool northeast wind. Likewise, maritime conditions on the country's coasts remain normal, so there are no restrictions on their use.
