Madrid becomes, from this Thursday until next Monday, the venue for the V Assembly of the Global Network of Rainbow Catholics (GNRC), an international meeting that will bring together LGBT Catholics, family members, and friends to share experiences, foster dialogue, and promote inclusion within the Church.
Organized by GNRC under the motto 'Walking together: rainbow challenges after the Synod', the event offers a program that combines plenary sessions with activists and theologians, interactive workshops, cultural activities and an international celebration evening in Madrid.
Among the confirmed speakers for this event are figures such as the Spanish theologian Cristina Inogés, the Spanish religious and synodal consultant María Luisa Berzosa, the British theologian James Alison and the Danish Renato Lings, an expert in biblical exegesis and gender.
The choice of Madrid is due to the fact that, according to GNRC, the city has established itself as an epicenter of religious diversity and inclusion to become a spiritual meeting point for LGBT Catholics from different regions of the world.
