Los Delfines del Naco wins the Asonadina Championship 2025

Santo Domingo. - The swimmers from the Delfines del Naco team took home the top honors at the 2025 National District Swimming Championship, organized by the National District Swimming Association (Asonadina), an event in which more than 500 athletes and 20 teams participated. The event, which was held last weekend at the Santiago Swimming Complex, with the endorsement of the Dominican Federation of Aquatic Sports RD (Fedda), was attended by athletes from five associations: Distrito, Santiago, La Vega, La Altagracia and Santo Domingo. Team Awards The tournament champions, Delfines del Naco with a score of 4,053.50, were crowned in the tournament; Marlins de Arroyo Hondo with 3,119 came second, while the third step was for Club Acuático Titanes de Santo Domingo, compiling 1,475. Las Pirañas de Amaprosan and Barracudas finished in fourth and fifth place, out of 20 teams in the table. The competition had judges from the International Federation, as well as an electronic timer. It was sponsored by the Ministry of Sports, Fedda, and the Olympic Committee. Asonadina thanked Lulu Pet, Habichuelas Giselle, JC PIM, among others, for their support.

Individual Winners

Amanda Azcona, from Pirañas de Amaprosan, scored 501 points, to be the best in the U12 category. While in the same category, but in the male division, Emir Brea, from Marlins de Arroyo Hondo, came in first with 512 points. Lianna Miguelina Jiménez, from Team Sin Fallos, took first place with a score of 582, in the U13 or more. For his part, Denzel González, from Team Sin Fallos, won that same category, but in the male category, with 733, in addition to being the highest scorer of the event.
