Marc Anthony claims that the Beckham family's version of the conflict "does not reflect the truth"

Los Angeles.- Marc Anthony spoke out for the first time about the conflict facing the Beckham family, after being linked to the controversy, and assured that the version circulating "does not reflect the truth."

"I am very close to my family. But I have nothing to say about what has happened there. It is very regrettable how everything is unfolding, but (how it is unfolding) does not reflect the truth," said the Puerto Rican salsa singer in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Anthony was involved for having acted at the reception of the wedding of Brooklyn Beckham, son of Victoria and David Beckham, and Nicola Peltz in 2022.

Brooklyn Beckham's Remarks About His Parents

The eldest son of the Beckhams, who has been estranged from his family for almost three years, accused his parents at the end of January of trying to sabotage his relationship with the model, and through Instagram stories he assured that on his wedding day Anthony supposedly called him to the stage to dance with his mother instead of his wife. "In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where according to the program my romantic dance with my wife was planned, but instead my mother was waiting for me to dance with me," Beckham wrote then. "She danced very inappropriately in front of everyone. I have never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my life," she added. So far, neither David nor Victoria Beckham have responded to their son's accusations, who also stated that he is not interested in reconciling with his parents.
