Monte Plata.– Within the framework of the Christmas activities arranged by the Dominican Government, the administrative minister of the Presidency, Andrés Bautista, led this Saturday a lunch with community members from the province of Monte Plata, where he called on the population to maintain caution on the roads to help reduce the high rates of traffic accidents in the country.
Bautista, accompanied by the Director of Internal Taxes, Luis Valdez, and Governor Rafaela Javier Gomera, highlighted the importance of enjoying the Christmas Breeze with joy, but also with responsibility.The official also urged parents and young people to dedicate the end of the year to reflection, family unity, and the planning of goals for the next year. The activity took place at the Ángel Peguero Sports Center and also included the participation of deputies Jhonatan Contreras and Román de Jesús Vargas; the mayor of Monte Plata, Héctor Figaris, as well as representatives of neighborhood councils and community leaders."We must take care of ourselves and take care of others. This is a time to share, not for sadness to come to Dominican homes," he expressed.
