Santo Domingo. - The Vice President, Raquel Peña, expressed her concern this Tuesday about the femicides that continue to shake the country and warned that Dominican society cannot stand idly by in the face of these crimes.
He said that, although the Government has promoted important initiatives from Congress and the Ministry of Women in the last five years, the problem remains a challenge that must be addressed jointly.
Peña called on all sectors of society to unite in a firm action against violence, assuring that such painful and regrettable events cannot be allowed to continue to occur.
