Satya Nadella: AI only makes sense if it concretely benefits humanity

Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella, warned that the development of artificial intelligence (AI) will only be legitimate if it generates tangible benefits for society. During his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Nadella pointed out that AI must translate into concrete improvements in people's lives; otherwise, its progress will lack justification. The executive highlighted that the creation and operation of AI systems involves a high consumption of energy resources, so it is essential that these technologies are used to positively impact areas such as health, education, productivity and efficiency in different sectors. Nadella emphasized that the true relevance of AI cannot be limited to experiments or technological tests, but must demonstrate measurable results that directly benefit communities and people, so that its development is aligned with clear social and economic goals.
