They forecast cooler temperatures and isolated showers for some provinces

Santo Domingo. - The Dominican Republic's Meteorology Institute (INDOMET), reported that the weather conditions for the Dominican territory will remain favorable, so that from early hours and during the course of the morning, isolated and passing showers will originate, especially in locations of La Altagracia, Samaná, María Trinidad Sánchez, Espaillat, Puerto Plata and Monte Cristi, among other nearby ones, as a result of a trough combined with the east/northeast wind. In that sense, for the afternoon hours, rainfall will extend in the form of scattered to moderate showers at times, thunderstorms and wind gusts, towards the provinces: El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Santo Domingo, Monte Plata, San Pedro de Macorís, San Cristóbal, Santiago, La Vega, Monseñor Nouel, Santiago Rodríguez, Valverde and surrounding areas. This rain activity will decrease at night. Tomorrow Wednesday, from early morning and during the morning hours, the incidence of a frontal trough to the north of the country and the prevailing northeast wind will favor cloud formations with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in towns in the provinces of: Puerto Plata, Espaillat, María Trinidad Sánchez, Samaná, El Seibo, Hato Mayor and La Altagracia, among other neighboring areas.

In the afternoon until the early hours of the night, cloudiness accompanied by showers with possible electrical storms and wind gusts will be concentrated mainly in the northeast, southeast regions, the Cibao Valley, the Central Mountain Range and the border area. It's November, and the temperatures are starting to feel pleasant, due to the entry of fresher air from the northeast and the sporadic arrival of frontal systems. However, during the day they will feel slightly warm, while at night and early morning they will become cooler, especially in mountain areas and valleys. National District: isolated clouds. In the afternoon until the early hours of the night, cloud increases with showers and thunderstorms. Santo Domingo Norte: scattered clouds. Cloudy increases in the afternoon until the early hours of the night with showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures: the minimum will be between 21 °C and 23 °C and the maximum between 30 °C and 32 °C. Summary: trough and east/northeast wind will increase cloudiness with showers, thunderstorms and wind gusts, especially in the afternoon until the early hours of the night, over the regions: northeast, southeast, Central Mountain Range and border area… Normal maritime conditions… Pleasant temperatures at night and early morning in mountain and valley areas. On Thursday, the trough is expected to move away from the national territory, giving way to the influence of an anticyclonic system that will favor a clear and sunny sky in most provinces in the morning hours. However, in the afternoon hours until nightfall, the northeast wind and the effects of daytime and orographic heating could generate isolated showers of short duration in areas of the regions: southeast and the Central Mountain Range.
