They light candles demanding answers for vehicle theft in Cotuí

Cotui.- .– Owners of several vehicles that were stolen while the patron saint festivities of Cotui were being celebrated, last December 2025, held a candle lighting ceremony in front of the local police station this Tuesday night, demanding a response from the authorities to the investigations being carried out.

According to statements, the only information they have received so far corresponds to the last GPS locations of the vehicles; however, they indicated that to date they do not have any hope that these can be recovered. The affected parties called on the local authorities and the National Police's Vehicle Theft Investigations Department to deepen investigations into this and other vehicle theft cases that have occurred in the area.
