With triple world medalist Yudelina Mejía in Forde (Norway) 2025 as its main exponent, the delegation will train for a month at the vacation spot Jardines de la Montaña, where the federation concentrates its athletes in the run-up to their international commitments.
Willian Ozuna, president of the Dominican Weightlifting Federation, indicated that in addition to the preparation for the Pan American Senior Championships, the pre-selection will take advantage of its presence in Jarabacoa to continue and reinforce its preparation for the Central American and Caribbean Sports Games Santo Domingo 2026.
