U.S. Ambassador to Israel suggests bombing Yemen as was done with Iran

Jerusalem.- The ambassador of United States in Israel, Mike Huckabee, suggested this Tuesday that the American B-2 bombers "may have to visit Yemen", after Israel intercepted a missile launched by the Houthi rebels from Yemeni territory. "We thought there would be no more missiles in Israel, but the Houthis have just launched one at us. Luckily, the incredible Israeli interception system allows us to take shelter and wait for everything to be clear," Huckabee wrote on his X account.

"Maybe those B-2 bombers have to visit Yemen!", he added.

Huckabee's mention of B-2 bombers refers to the recent "Midnight Hammer" operation, carried out by the United States between June 20 and 21, in which more than 125 aircraft, including seven B-2s with 13-ton bunker-buster bombs, attacked nuclear facilities in Iran.

For his part, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz also compared the Houthi threat to that of Iran today. "After defeating the snake in Tehran, we will also defeat the Houthis in Yemen. Whoever raises their hand against Israel will have their hand cut off," the minister warned in a statement about Iran's allies, including the Houthis, Hamas or Hezbollah in Lebanon. E
