Jennifer Ventura's family, Miss RD, arrived in Thailand to support her in Miss Universe 2025

A few hours before the preliminary competition of Miss Universe 2025, Jennifer Ventura, Miss Dominican Republic Universe, received a pleasant visit that recharged her energy: the arrival in Thailand of her family, who traveled to give her their support prior to the important competition.

The model and civil engineer, originally from Barahona and representing the same province in the national contest, carries on her chest the tricolor sash of the Dominican Republic to the international stage in Thailand, where she seeks to obtain the second Miss Universe crown for the Dominican Republic. Visibly excited, she thanked the presence of her family members, assuring that this visit was what she needed to "give it her all in the preliminary round."

“Right now, knowing that my family is here gives me the strength I was missing. I know my mom is here with me, I know she is with all of us, and I am going to give it my all for everything,” expressed Jennifer visibly moved at Fashion Week.

The candidate stated that, for her, having the love of her family is vital and mentioned that, although her mother is not physically with her after passing away on April 8th as a result of the Jet Set nightclub tragedy, she feels her with her every moment. With Dominican flags in their hands, Jennifer's family filled her with hugs and kisses, causing the candidate tears of joy and emotion, a few hours before proudly representing the Dominican Republic in the preliminary competition of the contest in its 74th edition.

Since her arrival in Thailand, Miss Dominican Republic has become one of the big favorites for her charisma, authenticity, and poise; in addition, for the kind treatment she has had with the other participants, bringing them a very special gift: the precious stone of the Dominican Republic, the larimar, a detail that has delighted the more than 130 confirmed candidates. Likewise, the candidate has shone in each of her appearances wearing spectacular outfits in which Dominican fashion stands out, showcasing designs by renowned and talented designers from the country, including Gianinna Azar, Suzelle Taveras by Bride To Be, and CFor2. The Miss Universe preliminary competition is scheduled to take place this Wednesday, November 19th at seven in the morning, Dominican Republic time, through the Miss Universe YouTube channel.
