The contract was signed by the main stakeholders of the event: Formula 1, as the holder of the commercial rights; the FIA, the governing body of world motorsport; and the participating teams of the World Championship. The agreement seeks to ensure that all actors are “fully aligned” for the next five years, in a key period that will coincide with the new technical era that will begin in 2026 with innovative regulations for the power units and single-seaters.

According to what F1 explained in its official statement, the new Concorde Agreement reinforces the joint commitment to continue driving the growth of the sport and consolidate the significant expansion experienced in recent years, both in audience and global reach. The agreement will also allow the FIA to make greater investments in the improvement of sporting regulations, race direction, supervision and technical development, with the aim of strengthening the championship and offering a more attractive product for fans, television networks and commercial partners. "This means that sport can continue to evolve, providing exciting technological innovations and high-level sporting action, all within a stable and structured regulatory framework," the statement notes. The signing of the new Concorde Agreement comes at a time of unprecedented momentum for Formula 1, which combines a record audience growth, a dynamic calendar and a greater connection with the young audience, factors that reinforce the championship's position as one of the most followed sports competitions in the world.
