The Bahoruco Animal Protection Brigade Meets with Independence Authorities

Jimani, Independencia - Today, the Animal Protection Brigade (BPA) of Bahoruco carried out an important transfer to the province of Independencia with the aim of establishing cooperation ties with local authorities. This visit is part of the efforts to expand the presence and effectiveness of the brigade in the country, where they are already operating in various provinces. During their visit, the BPA representatives met with several competent authorities of the demarcation. Among them were Juan Francisco Pérez Ferreras, in charge of Environment, Mercedes Novas, provincial governor of Jimani, and Laureano Santana, mayor, among others. The dialogue focused on the formation of a BPA department in the Independencia province, which will allow strengthening the work in favor of animal welfare in the area. The expansion of the Animal Protection Brigade, headed by its director Silvia Lilian Moriillo and its Sub Director Anibal Sena, is a significant step towards improving the protection and management of animals in the country. With this new initiative, it is expected that Jimani will also join the provinces that have teams dedicated to the defense and care of animals, thus guaranteeing a more comprehensive and coordinated attention. The BPA reaffirms its commitment to animal protection and collaboration with local authorities, seeking to create a safer and healthier environment for both humans and animals in the region. The meeting marks the beginning of a new stage in which it is expected to implement programs and actions for the benefit of the local fauna.
