Representative Ramón Raposo presents legislative, community, and social agenda for 2026

The Operational Plan seeks to strengthen citizen participation and promote sustainable development

Santo Domingo.- The national deputy of the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD), Ramón Raposo, presented this Saturday his Annual Operational Plan 2026, a comprehensive agenda that articulates legislative, community and social actions, aimed at generating a positive impact on communities and the development of the country.

The initiative was announced at a meeting with community and social leaders from the country, mainly from Santo Domingo Norte, with whom the strategic lines of a legislative management closer to the people were defined, based on citizen participation and focused on concrete solutions to the main needs of the population. Raposo explained that the plan sets clear objectives to strengthen congressional work, foster community organization, support young people and entrepreneurs, promote sustainable development, and consolidate public policies that contribute to improving the quality of life of Dominican families.

Among the main lines of work, the legislator highlighted the implementation of environmental protection programs, through workshops and educational campaigns; the promotion of entrepreneurship and technological innovation, with training in artificial intelligence and digital communication; as well as the holding of sector-specific meetings with community, religious, sports, cultural, commercial and business leaders.


On the legislative level, the 2026 Operational Plan contemplates the presentation and monitoring of important initiatives, including:

  • The amendment to the General Health Law, with emphasis on mental health.
  • The Law for missing persons.
    Tax incentives for the development of an industrial zone in Santo Domingo Norte.
  • Measures to protect national agriculture.
    The amendment to Law 105-13 on public salaries.
  • Resolutions to promote sports and cultural infrastructure works, sanitation of ravines and housing solutions in vulnerable communities.
Likewise, Raposo highlighted a broad program of social actions, which includes the celebration of Mother's and Father's Day, health and fumigation days, educational activities, accountability exercises, promotion of cooperativism, community presence on special dates and the realization of a great Christmas meeting with community leaders. The deputy emphasized that the Legislative and Social Office will be the main articulating axis of this agenda, functioning as an open space for citizens to present proposals, initiatives, and projects for the benefit of their communities.

"This plan reaffirms our commitment to transparent, participatory management, and one oriented towards the human, social, and economic development of Santo Domingo Norte and the entire nation," Raposo expressed.

The activity concluded with the support of the community members present, under the slogan: "One of us, building a better future from the National Congress."
