The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the US dollar for this Wednesday, February 18, 2026, as follows:
In financial entities, the buying price of the dollar was RD$60.87 and the selling price was RD$62.90.
These figures reflect that the local currency appreciated by 0.19% in buying and 0.15% in selling compared to the previous day, when the rates were RD$60.99 and RD$63.00 respectively.
If the behavior of the last 30 days is analyzed, the peso has gained ground more notably, with an appreciation of 2.24% in the bank buying rate compared to the previous month.
For their part, remittance and exchange agents reported buying rates of RD$61.23 and selling rates of RD$62.41.
In this sector, the appreciation compared to the previous day was more moderate, standing at 0.03% for the purchase.
