Monte Plata – A spectacular traffic accident occurred at the entrance of Pueblo Nuevo, on the Northeast Highway, leaving an impactful scene that caught the attention of drivers and community members in the area.
According to preliminary information, a Ford Explorer vehicle, color unspecified, with license plate G466291, skidded violently, causing the car's engine to detach and be thrown to the other side of the road. The driver, identified as Rafael Vargas, was injured during the accident and was immediately transferred to Doctor Ángel Contreras Hospital, in Monte Plata, where he is receiving medical attention. Units from the National Emergency Attention System 9-1-1, agents of the National Police (belonging to the detachment of the 5th company), members of the Monte Plata Fire Department and Road Safety personnel quickly arrived at the scene, who provided immediate assistance to the affected person and worked on the scene investigation.Nationals
