"The house looks like a fifteen-year-old... The Colonial Zone has made a 360-degree turn, this was slum-like and now we have the remodeled house without spending a dime, that is something wonderful," said Rosa Wessin, one of the benefited owners.

In the same vein, María Guzmán and Ana Argentina Flores expressed themselves, who have been residing in the place for more than three decades, highlighting that this type of work had never been done. The renovation of the houses includes the repair of bathrooms, floors, ceilings and rooms, and also includes the care of the structure to preserve the origin of the colonial area. The work has an investment of three million dollars, two of which are financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the remaining million financed by the European Union. The extensive program includes the sectors of San Antón, Santa Bárbara, San Miguel and San Lázaro.
