The world of social media is once again in mourning, after the news of the death of the Pakistani influencer and content creator, Sana Yousaf, a renowned Tiktoker, aged 17, was confirmed. She was murdered in her residence after celebrating her birthday.
Sana died instantly in her home in the capital, Islamabad, after receiving several shots from a suspected stalker who repeatedly insisted on meeting her. Pakistani police confirmed the news about the murder of the TikToker, who currently had over 1 million followers for her fashion and beauty content. "It was a case of repeated rejections. The boy kept trying to approach her again and again," said Islamabad police chief Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi during a meeting with the press. The authorities reported that they have a suspected named Umar Hayat. Allegedly, he had tried repeatedly to meet with her, but was unsuccessful, so he broke into her house, shot her, stole her phone, and fled.Sana's father, Syed Yousaf Hassan, visibly affected, told the BBC that she was his only daughter and that she was "very brave".
Recent Cases of Murdered Influencers
