Synopsis of «La Novia»:
After the death of his wife, Robert tries to fill the emotional void by acquiring a humanoid with artificial intelligence, the Model NoVIA 5000. What begins as an experiment to recreate lost love becomes a profound emotional journey about the impossibility of programming feelings, the fragility of memory, and the human need to heal. A moving story that questions whether true love can be replicated or if it remains, inevitably, in the irrecoverable.
The second proposal, "The Light of the Last Candle", directed by Shanel Valois and produced with the assistance of Gael Sterling and assistant direction by Alma Martínez, features the performances of Yarlenys Vargas, Yeniel Ramírez and Rodrigo Bréton. This staging offers a hopeful look at the opportunities to start over, illuminating the possibilities that arise even in the darkest moments.
Synopsis of «La Luz de la Última Vela»:
In an intimate party, Doña Flores, a mother full of love, meticulously organizes the 26th birthday celebration of her son Alvarito. Surrounded by lights and a last lit candle, she tenderly reviews the dreams she holds for him. However, the weight of absence transforms the party into an emotional journey through memory and mourning. A short but deeply human work that reminds us that the bonds of love endure beyond life and time.
Both works address universal themes from innovative perspectives, inviting reflection and enjoyment in an intimate atmosphere.
A vision that transcends generations:
Fidia Peralta, the driving force behind this initiative, firmly believes that this combination of generations is perfect:
“Art does not depend on age or experience, but on sensitivity, the desire to create, the very essence of the human being. The human being, by nature, is art.”
Social commitment: theater as a right and engine of inspiration
The purpose of this project goes beyond the stage.
Once the season at Microteatro is over, these plays will be taken to schools, bringing theater to teenagers who, due to lack of resources, have not had the opportunity to attend a theater.
We believe there is no better inspiration for a young person than to see other young people —and also adults— demonstrating that dreams can indeed be built.
We want to raise awareness, inspire you, and remind you that art is a right for everyone, and that opportunities should be accessible to all hearts that dream.
