Sports legends and public figures accompany Luis Polonia at the premiere gala of his film

Winston “Chilote” Llenas, Tony Peña, Stanley Javier and local authorities supported Luis Polonia at the premiere of his film “El Rey del Hit”. Santiago. – The premiere gala of the film El Rey del Hit: Luis Polonia brought together prominent figures of Dominican baseball and personalities of national public life in an emotional event held in Santiago de los Caballeros this Tuesday. Among those present were Winston “Chilote” Llenas, Tony Peña, Stanley Javier, Miguel Tejada, as well as renowned baseball players such as Edwin Encarnación, who attended with his wife Karen Yapoort, who expressed their support and admiration for Polonia's career. In addition, figures from the political and social spheres were present to accompany the former player on this special night. The mayor of Santiago, Ulises Rodríguez; former mayor Abel Martínez and his wife, communicator Nahiony Reyes; and governor Rosa María Santos Méndez, among other well-known figures, such as businessman Santiago Matías, CEO of Alofoke Media Group, who highlighted the importance of Luis Polonia's sporting, cultural and personal legacy.

The biographical film directed by Eddy Jiménez and produced by Camino Films and Hamilton Films, narrates the life and career of Polonia. It will arrive in Dominican Republic cinemas on October 30th and with its release seeks to inspire new generations with her story on and off the field. The premiere gala of the Polish film was a meeting between different generations of Dominican baseball and well-known personalities from national public life, who reaffirmed the impact and transcendence of Luis Polonia's career in Dominican sports culture.
