The Lawyer Yovanny Díaz Mendoza is a lawyer, graduated with honors from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD). He has a solid academic and professional background, with international master's degrees in Constitutional Law and Fundamental Freedoms, studied at the University of Paris and the Instituto Global de Altos Estudios en Ciencias Sociales (IGLOBAL).
His preparation has been enriched with specialized studies in Criminology Applied to the Execution of Sentences, carried out at the University of Murcia, Spain. Likewise, he has completed diplomas and programs in Diplomacy and International Relations, international cooperation, social leadership, administrative law, economic regulation, organizational change management, anti-bribery regulations, prevention of money laundering, regulatory compliance and anti-fraud auditing.
Currently, Yovanny Alexander Díaz Mendoza works as a university professor, sharing his knowledge with new generations of law and social sciences professionals.
In the public sphere, he serves as the interim director of Ethics and Integrity of the General Directorate of Ethics and Governmental Integrity (DIGEIG), where he leads the design and execution of institutional policies for the strengthening of transparency and the fight against corruption.
Among Yovanny Díaz's main responsibilities, his role as head of the process of creating the National Integrity System stands out, and of the implementation of the Governmental Integrity and Regulatory Compliance Commissions (CIGCN), as well as the model of the Integrity Officers, whose function is to ensure ethical and regulatory compliance in State entities.
In addition, Yovanny Díaz is a panelist on the “Politikal” program, a space for analysis and debate on topics of national interest, broadcast by the platforms of the newspaper De Último Minuto, where he contributes his legal vision and his experience in public policies and governance.
