SANTO DOMINGO. – The young Dominican baseball player Junior Caminero will take on a new role off the field as he is designated as a MLB Español correspondent during Games 3 and 4 of the 2025 World Series between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers, as announced this Wednesday by Major League Baseball (MLB).

Caminero, a member of the Tampa Bay Rays, will join the special coverage that the league carries out in Spanish, where he will serve as an interviewer and contributor of exclusive content for the digital platforms of MLB Español when the series moves to Los Ángeles. MLB also reported that Lawrence Butler of the Oakland Athletics and Vinnie Pasquantino of the Kansas City Royals will also serve as correspondents in official media during the World Series, providing their perspectives as active Major League players. The Dominican, considered one of the most promising young talents in the American League, has shown his charisma and knowledge of the game, characteristics that make him an ideal figure to connect with the Spanish-speaking fans during the most important event in Major League Baseball.
