SANTO DOMINGO. - The Tigres del Licey announced this Thursday the rotation of pitchers who will assume the next three commitments of the 2025-26 autumn-winter championship, in a series that includes two matches against the Águilas Cibaeñas and a visit to the Gigantes del Cibao.

Right-handed pitcher Adonis Medina (1-1, 2.08) will be in charge of opening this Friday at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal stadium, starting at 7:30 p.m., against the Águilas Cibaeñas. Medina will have his first start of the season after eight relief appearances, in which he has completed 13 innings, allowing only three earned runs, giving four walks and striking out 11. Opposing batters barely hit .227 against him. For Saturday, imported lefty Nico Tellache (1-2) will take the mound when Licey visits the Águilas at the Cibao stadium at 6:00 p.m. It will be his sixth appearance of the campaign and the fifth start. Tellache has worked 16 innings, in which he has accumulated 10 strikeouts and six walks, limiting his opponents to a batting average of .211, one of the lowest on the team. On Sunday, veteran right-hander Radhamés Liz (0-1, 2.25) will be the starter against the Gigantes del Cibao at the Julián Javier stadium, a game scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Liz will make his fourth start of the season, in which he has been dominant: opponents are batting just .146, in addition to adding 14 strikeouts in 12 innings, a figure that places him in third place on the team in that department.
