De Último Minuto participates in the Gabo Festival 2025 in Bogotá

Bogotá.- A delegation from De Último Minuto participated in the Gabo Festival 2025, in Bogotá, Colombia, representing Dominican journalism in one of the most important Ibero-American gatherings dedicated to storytelling, journalism, and cultural innovation. The team from the media outlet was comprised of journalists Wendy Mora and Elsa Cesilia Feliz, who participated in various training workshops on artificial intelligence applied to journalism, journalistic investigation, media leadership, and digital narratives, key areas to face the current challenges of communication.

Wendy Mora highlighted the importance of this participation, noting that being at the Gabo Festival is "an opportunity for a local media outlet to open up to the world." For her part, Elsa Cesilia Feliz thanked the company, led by Héctor Romero, for its support, which has allowed her to update her knowledge and strengthen her skills in accordance with contemporary journalistic trends. The Gabo Festival, organized by the Fundación Gabo created by the Nobel Prize in Literature Gabriel García Márquez, celebrates its 13th edition this year with a program that includes more than 100 free activities and the participation of 150 guests from 22 countries. Talks, workshops, master classes, podcasts and exhibitions are part of the agenda, whose objective is to reflect on the power of stories and the role of journalism as a tool for social transformation.
