Among them, for example, the 25% reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across its entire value chain since 2019 stands out, representing a five percentage point improvement over 2023. In its own operations, the company has achieved a 54% reduction in GHG emissions since 2019 and reports a renewable energy consumption of 94%, staying on track to achieve net-zero emissions by 2030.

These achievements go hand in hand with continuous efforts to improve living conditions and strengthen economies by providing safe food everywhere. This adds to another year of significant development in the decarbonization of the company's operations and in helping its customers reduce their emissions through the equipment, technology and services it offers to the food and beverage industry. These advances demonstrate the company's ongoing commitment to work in collaboration with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to achieve net-zero GHG emissions across the entire value chain (scopes 1, 2, and 3) by 2050, compared to 2019. A key factor in Tetra Pak's progress in reducing GHG emissions across its value chain in 2024 were its resource-efficient equipment such as water and energy, its comprehensive factory optimization technology, and its packaging solutions with a lower carbon footprint.
